The University Advising Center provides services to undergraduate students in the Colleges of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts; Liberal Arts and Sciences; and undergraduates in many of the pre-professional programs, including:

- General education requirements
- Declaration of majors
- Degree audits
College of Engineering students should call (313) 577-3780 to schedule an advising appointment on main campus.
College of Education students should call (313) 577-1788 to schedule an advising appointment on main campus.
School of Business Advising for Undergraduate and Graduate Programs
If you are already admitted to a business program, the School of Business offers academic advising at the Oakland Center on the following days during the Fall 2012 semester:
- Undergraduate Advising: Wednesdays from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
- Graduate Advising: Thursdays from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Appointments are strongly suggested, walk-ins will be seen if time permits. To schedule an appointment, call the School of Business Administration Student Services Office at (313) 577-4505.
